Balangir: A man was killed after his motorcycle was hit by a Hyva truck on the Khaprakhol-Belapada road near Ghagurli village in Balangir district this morning.
The deceased has been identified as Murali Behera.
He worked as a teacher at Dhanamunda Primary School in the district. The mishap took place while Behera was en route to his daughter’s place.
Meanwhile, the truck has been seized by Police. A probe into the matter has been initiated.
