Koraput: A man was allegedly hacked to death at Kadalipadar village under Baipariguda police limits in of district.
According to police, one Muku Santa (50) allegedly attacked Trinath Hota (60) of the same village with a sharp weapon over suspected past enmity causing his death on the spot.
Baipariguda police reached the spot after getting information and arrested the accused.
While the exact reason behind the murder is yet to be ascertained, it is assumed that the crime was a fall out of a past enmity.
A case has been registered and an investigation has been started into the incident, the police said.
