Keonjhar: A man reportedly died of electrocution while allegedly trying to steal chicken from a poultry farm at Rampas Canal under Nandipada Police station limits of Odisha’s Keonjar district.
An unidentified man reportedly went to the poultry farm of one Kalandi Sahu of Badarampas this morning. However, he came across a live wire, which was used in the poultry farm to prevent theft, and died on the spot.
A team from Nandipada Police station rushed to the spot after getting information from Kalandi. They seized the unknown person’s body and sent it to the hospital for postmortem.
Further investigation is underway.
