Less than 10 Covid-19 cases reported in Bhubaneswar in last 24 hours

Bhubaneswar: 8 new cases of Covid-19 were detected in Odisha’s capital city Bhubaneswar in the last 24 hours.

According to reports by Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) on June 12, 2022 the cases reported in the city were local contact cases. Single positive cases were reported today from Patia, Rasulgarh, Bhimtangi , Unit-3, Unit-7, and Laxmi Vihar area of the city. Similarly, 2 cases were registered from Bomikhal area of Bhubaneswar.

With today’s development the total Covid-19 cases have increased to 1,56,758. The recovered cases are 1,55,401. The total deceased cases are 1193. At present, the active Covid-19 cases in Bhubaneswar stand at 134 The recovered cases in BMC in last 24 hours were 5.

Odisha on Sunday reported 19 new Covid cases, informed the Information and Public Relations (I&PR) Department. The positive tally stands at 12,88,639.

Reportedly, among the 19 it is to be noted that 11 patients are in quarantine and eight are local contacts. The active cases in Odisha currently stand at 153.
