Balangir: A body of a minor boy has been found near the Sikir jungle under Titilagarh police limits in Balangir district of Odisha on Wednesday.
Reportedly, the minor was kidnapped by a youth, identified as Sumit, on Saturday. Thereafter he had also demanded Rs 10 lakh ransom from the minor’s family.
It is being suspected that the minor has been killed by the kidnapper as the ransom was not delivered.
On getting the information, the cops arrived at the spot and recovered the body. The kidnapper has been detained by the cops for questioning.
The police has initiated an investigation into the minor boy’s mysterious death case.
