Kendrapada Shootout Case: Bandh declared in protest of delay in arrest

Kendrapada: A bandh has been declared by Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Bajrang Dal, Banika Sangha on Wednesday. This has been done in protest of delay in arrest of culprit involved in the shooting of President of local Ram Mandir.

The protesters will block Cuttack-Chandabali Tinimuhani Chaka. Five platoons of police force deployed to keep maintain law and order situation in the district.

On the fateful evening of July 14, miscreants had fired shots at Babuli Maharana at Gul Nagar square. He was injured and is currently under treatment. Babuli is the president of Dharma Suraksha Samiti and Tinimuhani Chaka Ram Mandir.

The bandh protestors allege that Kendrapada Police have been unable to trace the culprits. They are demanding urgent arrest of the miscreants involved in the shootout.
