Baripada: Driver of a four-wheeler was killed on the spot after it hit a roadside tree at Sarubil village under Thakurmunda police limits in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district on Thursday.
The ill-fated jackfruit-laden vehicle bearing registration number OR11E 7581 was on its way to Thakurmunda. Unfortunately, driver of the vehicle lost control over the wheels of the vehicle and hit a roadside tree killing the driver on the spot.
The deceased driver has been identified as Sipun Mohanty, said sources.
Till the filing of this report, Sipun’s body is yet to be rescued from the vehicle, added the sources.
