IMD Predicts Yellow Warning For 7 Districts In Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The city-based regional centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) here today issued a yellow warning for a total of seven districts of Odisha.

According to the weatherman, the yellow warning has been issued for the districts of Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Bhadrak, Koraput, Gajapati and Kandhamal for the next 24 hours.

All these districts will receive rain in the next 24 hours, predicted the India Meteorological Department.

Meanwhile, the fishermen have been advised not to venture into the sea from March 29 to March 31 as strong gusty surface wind speed reaching 40-50 kmph is likely over North-West Bay of Bengal and along and off Odisha Coast.

People of the above-mentioned districts also have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly take precautions to protect themselves.
