IMD issues yellow warning for light to moderate rain in next 5 days in Odisha, check details

Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) today issued a yellow warning for light to moderate rain are very likely to occur in different districts of Odisha.

The Weatherman has issued the warning for the next five days from June 15 to June 19.

Day-1 (Valid up to 8.30 AM of June 15):

• Forecast: Light to Moderate Rain or Thundershower is very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Odisha.
• Yellow Warning: Thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Nabarangpur, Gajapati, Ganjam, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Balangir, Nuapada, Sonepur, Sambalpur, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara and Cuttack.

Day-2 (Valid from 8.30 AM of June 15 up to 8.30 AM of June 16):

• Forecast: Light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at many places over the districts of Interior Odisha, Gajapati, Ganjam and at a few places over the rest districts of Odisha.
• Yellow Warning: Thunderstorms with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Jharsuguda, Sundergarh, Deogarh, Keonjhar, Sambalpur, Mayurbhanj, Angul, Dhenkanal, Boudh, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam, Malkangiri, Koraput and Nabarangpur.

Day-3 (Valid from 8.30 AM of June 16 up to 8.30 June 17):

• Forecast: Light to Moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at many places over the districts of Interior Odisha, Gajapati, Ganjam and at a few places over the rest districts of Odisha.
• Yellow Warning: Thunderstorms with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundergarh, Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Boudh, Kandhamal, Balasore and Bhadrak.

Day-4 (Valid from 8.30 AM of June 17 up to 8.30 June 18):

• Forecast: Light to Moderate Rain or Thundershower very likely to occur at many places over the districts of Odisha.
• Yellow Warning: Thunderstorms with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Angul, Dhenkanal, Kandhamal and Rayagada.

Day-5 (Valid from 8.30 AM of June 18 up to 8.30 June 19):

• Forecast: Light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at many places over the districts of Odisha.
• Yellow Warning: Thunderstorms with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundergarh, Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Sonepur, Boudh, Bolangir, Nuapada, Kalahandi and Nabarangpur.
