Keonjhar: An illegal iron ore transport racket has been busted in Keonjhar district of Odisha today. Five dumper trucks have also been seized in the raid.
Reports say that, the trucks have been seized by the forest department officials under the Barbil range.
The forest officials confiscated lakhs worth of iron ore along with dumpers. The drivers and helpers left the vehicle and fled.
The forest department raided the Barbil range on getting a tip-off about the smuggling of iron ore to Jharkhand.
Further investigation into the incident is underway.
Ms Kalinga
