GST Fraud In Odisha: CBI Registers Case Against Institute Of Technology, 3 GST Excise Officials

Bhubaneswar: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has registered a case against the Centurion Institute of Technology and three GST Excise Officials for their involvement in a GST fraud.

According to reports, the central investigating agency lodged FIR against the Centurion Institute of Technology, unknown officials of Centurion Institute of Technology, and unknown Officials of GST & Central Excise, Bhubaneswar Circle.

CBI registered the cases while probing the Rs 10 lakh bribery case. The accused had allegedly taken the bribe to close a GST fraud.

Earlier, the CBI had arrested Superintendents of GST and Central Excise, Bhubaneswar, Artabhanj Kar, Accountant of Centurion Institute of Technology, Ashutosh Padhi, and two others were arrested in the case.
