Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Sunday seals a hotel for violating Covid-19 restrictions. The hotel will remain sealed until further notice.
The hotel located on Cuttack road allowed gambling during the weekend shutdown.
Acting on a tip-off, a joint team of the Special Squad and Laxmisagar Police and Sahid Nagar police raided the hotel for their alleged involvement in gambling.
During the search, a large quantity of incriminating items including playing cards, cash and liquor were seized from the possession of 13 persons including three women.
