Former FC Pune City Players Of Odisha FC Expect Good Crowd Against ATK

Bhubaneswar: Ahead of their first home game of the Hero Indian Super League (ISL) 2019-20 against ATK, Odisha FC skipper Marcos Tebar is hopeful that the team from Odisha will get good support in their adopted home venue – Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex, Pune.

Marcos had played for FC Pune City in the 2017-18 season and was instrumental in guiding the team to the semi-finals.

Ahead of the ATK game, Tebar said, “The feeling is great. I spent six months here when I played for Pune City and that was a good experience. We also got the playoff spot. The supporters also came to the stadium and I hope they will come to support us now when Odisha plays here. The fans here in Pune are very passionate about football.”

Defender Narayan Das, who was also a part of FC Pune City back in 2016, is happy to be back in Pune again. He is hopeful that the game against their zonal rivals ATK on Sunday will help them garner a decent audience at the stadium.

When asked about the feeling of coming back to Pune, Narayan replied, “It’s a very good feeling for me to come back here. I would like to urge the supporters to come in big numbers. It’s a Sunday as well and that is good for us as the people here will come to watch us play. We will play three home games here and are hopeful that we get maximum points.”
