Cuttack: In a ghastly incident, the former Principal of Kandarpur College was hacked to death by some miscreants this evening. The deceased has been identified as Sudarshan Satpathy.
According to reports, some armed miscreants attacked Satpathy with a sharp weapon leaving him grievously injured.
Soon, Satpathy was rushed to SCB Medical College and Hospital for treatment. However, doctors who attended him declared him brought dead.
Satpathy’s body is kept in the mortuary of the government hospital.
Speaking about the incident, Cuttack DCP Prateek Singh informed that the accused has been arrested. He killed the former Principal over some money matter.
Satpathy was attacked by the accused when he had gone to collect the Rs 5000 which he had taken as a loan.
