Flood-like situation in Odisha: more trains cancelled, diverted

Bhubaneswar: In view of the flood-like situation in many parts of Odisha due to incessant rain, East Coast Railway on Thursday cancelled and diverted several more trains.

According to a release of East Coast Railway, as many as 10 trains have been cancelled for today and tomorrow while 10 other trains are running on diverted routes and 3 trains have been partially cancelled.

Here is the list of the trains cancelled, diverted, partially cancelled and rescheduled for today and tomorrow.

CANCELLATION OF TRAINS ON AUGUST 8, 2019

1. 58527/58528 Raipur-Visakhapatnam-Raipur passenger from both the directions

2. 58301/58302 Sambalpur-Koraput-Sambalpur passenger from both the directions

3. 58303/58304 Sambalpur-Junagarh Road-Sambalpur passenger from both the directions

4. 18517/18518 Korba-Visakhapatnam-Korba Express from both the directions

5. 58529/58530 Durg-Visakhapatnam-Durg Passenger from both the directions

6. 18107/18108 Jagadalpur-Rourkela-Jagadalpur Express from both the directions

CANCELLATION OF TRAINS ON AUGUST 9, 2019

1. 58301/58302 Sambalpur-Koraput-Sambalpur passenger from both the directions

2. 58303/58304 Sambalpur-Junagarh Road-Sambalpur passenger from both the directions

3. 58527/58528 Raipur-Visakhapatnam-Raipur passenger from both the directions

4. 18108 Jagadalpur-Rourkela Express from Jagadalpur.

DIVERSION OF TRAINS:

1. 13351/13352 Dhanbad-Alleppey-Dhanbad Express left from both the directions on Aug 7, 2019 diverted via Sambalpur-Angul-Khurda Road-Vizianagaram.

2. 13351 Dhanbad-Alleppey Express left from Dhanbad on Aug 8, 2019 diverted via Sambalpur-Angul-Khurda Road-Vizianagaram.

3. 13576 Jasidih-Chennai Express from Jasidih on Aug 7, 2019 diverted via Sambalpur-Angul-Khurda Road-Vizianagaram.

4. 12836 Yesvantpur-Hatia Express from Yesvantpur on Aug 7, 2019 will be diverted via Khurda Road-Angul-Sambalpur.

5. 12807 Visakhapatnam-Nizamuddin Samata Express from Visakhapatnam on Aug 8, 2019 will be diverted via Duvvada-Balharsha-Nagpur.

6. 18573 Visakhapatnam-Bhagat-ki-Kothi Express from Visakhapatnam on Aug 8, 2019 will be diverted via Duvvada-Balharsha-Nagpur-Bina and Guna.

7. 12843 Puri-Ahamadabad Express from Puri on Aug 8, 2019 will run via Duvvada-Balharsha-Nagpur.

8. 17482 Tirupati-Bilaspur Express from Tirupati on Aug 8, 2019 will run via Vijayawada- Balharsha-Nagpur.

9. 22838 Ernakulam-Hatia Express from Ernakulam on Aug 8, 2019 will run via Vizianagaram- Khurda Road-Angul-Sambalpur.

10. 18111 Tata-Yesvantpur Express from Tata on Aug 8, 2019 will run via Sambalpur-Angul-Khurda Road-Vizianagaram.

PARTIAL CANCELLATION:

1. 18437 Bhubaneswar-Junagarh Road Express from Bhubaneswar on Aug 8, 2019 will run up to Rayagada and will remain cancelled between Rayagada and Junagarh Road. In the return direction, 18438 will originate from Rayagada instead of Junagarh Road on Aug 9, 2019 Services of this train will remain cancelled between Rayagada & Junagarh Road from both the directions on Aug 9, 2019.

2. 18301/18302 Sambalpur-Rayagada-Sambalpur Express will run between Sambalpur & Titilagarh and will remain cancelled between Titilagarh and Rayagada from both the directions on Aug 9, 2019.

3. 18005/18006 Howrah-Jagadalpur-Howrah Samaleswari Express from Howrah on Aug 8, 2019 and from Jagadalpur on Aug 9, 2019 will run between Howrah and Titilagarh and will remain cancelled between Titilagarh and Jagadalpur from both the directions.

Yesterday, at least 7 trains had been cancelled, 12 partially cancelled and 13 others were diverted on the Titilagarh-Rayagada route in the East Coast Railway zone.
