Angul: Trouble enhances for ‘Guruji’ Manas Das as another complain has surfaced against him, now from Angul district. In the fresh complaint a youth has alleged that he was beaten by the members of Manabbad Sangathan for not taking part in the activities of the organisation.
It is to be noted that few days back a video had gone viral where some miscreants were seen brutally thrashing a father-son duo inside a room in Begunia area. Later, it had been complained that they were beaten by the people related to the Manabbad Sangathan and bit on the behest of the ‘Guruji’ Manas Das.
In the fresh complaint from Angul area, it has been complained that people related to the organisation thrashed a youth and frightened him showing him knife as he did not take part in the activities of the organisation.
As per reports, Krutartha Naik of Badakantakula village in Angul district was thrashed. He complained that he joined the Manabbad Sangathan in 2015. However, later he could not take part in the activities of the organisation. On August 12, he was called by Sadananda Naik, the local agent of the organisation and allegedly thrashed him in a room along with 4 others. He also threatened to kill him in case the youth complains about it, the youth complained.
Mother of the youth said that he became senseless after being beaten. She reportedly lodged an FIR at Bantala Police Station in this regard on August 20.
