Bhubaneswar: The Regional Centre of the India Meteorological Department today issued a dense fog warning for the next two days in Odisha.
According to the weather department, dense fog will occur in Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Angul and Dhenkanal districts from the night of February 7 to the morning of February 8.
Similarly, districts like Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati and Kandhamal will also witness the dense fog from the night of February 8 to the morning of February 9.
Meanwhile, the Office of Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) advised the police and transport officials of respective districts to take necessary steps for controlled plying of vehicles on highways during dense fog to avoid any road accident.
