Karanjia: A dead body has been found lying atop a hill in Mayurbhanj district of Odisha on Tuesday. From the preliminary reports, it has been said that the man died about 30 days ago.
As per reports, a dead body has been spotted atop a hill near Bhaliadala village under Mahuldiha Police limits in the district. The locals first spotted it on Tuesday when they had gone to the forest to graze buffaloes and informed police.
After getting information Jayanta Kumar Behera, IIC of Mahuldiha Police Station visited the spot along with a team of police personnel and started investigation.
Identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained while his age is expected to be around 50 years. The reason behind the death and whether it is a suicide, murder or natural death is yet to be ascertained.
It has been learnt that a scientific team will visit the spot on Wednesday for further investigation.
