Crocodile scare in Balasore of Odisha, 4-foot-long reptile caught

A 4-foot-long reptile fell into a trap set up in Balasore district of Odisha on Monday. This led to a major crocodile scare in Balasore district. 

Balasore: A 4-foot-long reptile fell into a trap set up in Balasore district of Odisha on Monday. This led to a major crocodile scare in Balasore district.

The crocodile was rescued from the Mahapada culvert of the Dubu dubi river under the Singhla police station of Balasore district. Ther was marked tension at the scene, said reliable reporte.

It is worth mentioning here that as many as two to three crocodiles have been a terror for the locals in this river for many months. Goats and cattle were killed and eaten at regular intervals.

As a result, the people of the area were in a state of panic, said reliable reports in this regard.  People said that despite repeatedly informing the forest department, no results were obtained. Today, after one crocodile got caught in the net, the villagers demanded to catch the other crocodiles.
