Bhubaneswar: Another 949 patients have recovered from Covid-19 in Odisha, informed the Health & Family Welfare (H&FW) today. The recovered patients are being discharged from various facilities, said the Health Department.
The H&FW department informed about this development through its official Twitter handle.
According to the H&FW department of the state, the highest recoveries were in Sundargarh district followed by Khordha and Cuttack districts.
The total recovered cases in Odisha now stand at 10,48,732.
The details of the recovery cases from different districts today are as follows:
260 from Sundargarh
161 from Khordha
138 from Cuttack
99 from Sambalpur
55 from Angul
40 from Mayurbhanj
30 from Ganjam
25 from Keonjhar
22 from Jharsuguda
13 from Puri
11 from Jagatsinghpur
11 from Nabarangpur
10 from Bargarh
8 from Baleswar
8 from Deogarh
7 from Sonepur
6 from Jajpur
4 from Bolangir
4 from Dhenkanal

Odisha reported a huge spike in Covid cases with 8778 positive cases including 2615 from Khordha have been detected in the last 24 hours.
The total cases include 792 in the 0-18 years age group have been found, informed the Information and Public Relations (I&PR) Department on Wednesday.
Among the 8778 positives, 5096 are quarantine cases and 3682 are local contacts. There are a total of 35,242 active cases. The positivity rate stands at 29.79%.
