Corona warriors: KIMS COVID hospital doctors return home

Bhubaneswar: At least 12 doctors who were treating COVID 19 patients in the KIMS COVID hospital have returned home today after staying in quarantine for a period of 14 days.

As per reports, these doctors treated for seven days coronavirus positive patients at KIMS COVID hospital. Following this, they were kept in quarantine for 14 days. After completion of the quarantine period they were tested and as all of them were tested negative they have been allowed on Saturday to return home.

As per the ICMR and WHO regulations, after working for 7 days in the first phase the doctors were kept in quarantine for 14 days at the KIIT guest house.

KIIT and KISS founder Dr. Achyuta Samanta has thanked the doctors for their courageous deed of treating the corona positive patients. He said that while KIMS was the first to get the opportunity for COVID hospital these doctors came forward to treat patients infected with the deadly coronavirus. Dr Samanta was happy to reveal that the corona patients recovered whom these doctors treated.

Also, the doctors who treated the corona patients have conveyed their happiness as the patients they treated recovered.

An event in this connection was held today in KIIT Univ where Dr. Subrata Acharya VC of the Univ was present.
