Commissionerate Police To Take Stringent Action Against Street Crimes In Bhubaneswar
Bhubaneswar: The Commissionerate police of Cuttack and Bhubaneswar have started a drive against street crimes. Police is initially targeting the Capital City of Bhubaneswar.
The Commisionerate police on March 15 issued a new WhatsApp number for the people in order to report any street crimes in the capital city of Odisha.
The public can report directly about any crime through WhatsApp messenger on the number 7077798111.
In the last five days 150 crimes have been reported on this number. The criminal antecedents of many people has been revealed through these messages said the DCP of Bhubaneswar.
He also added that, the identity of all the people who have messaged on the above stated number will never be revealed.
The people should feel confident and share all details they have about a street crime and criminals.
