Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today visited Capital Hospital here to see former Mayor and BJD’s MLA candidate from Bhubaneswar-Central constituency Anant Narayan Jena.
Jena has been admitted to the hospital and currently under treatment after being attacked by bombs in Jharpada area in the city last night.
Naveen during a short stay at the hospital enquired about the health condition of Jena and wished for his speedy recovery. Later, he left for Niali of Cuttack on the ongoing marathon campaign for the ongoing general election in Odisha.
Jena was traveling in his car in Jharpada area last night when at least three bike-borne miscreants neared him and targeted with bombs. He sustained multiple injuries in the bomb explosion along with three associates and rushed to hospital.
