CM Naveen Patnaik conducting aerial survey of 3 ‘Titli’ affected districts of Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is conducting an aerial survey of post cyclone situation in at least three districts of Odisha including Ganjam, Gajapati and Rayagada districts today.

Naveen left for the survey in a helicopter from Biju Patnaik International Airport here at around 10.40 AM. After taking a minute view of the rescue and relief operations in these three districts from air he is scheduled to take a brief halt at Rangeilunda Airstrip at around 12.40 PM before leaving for the state capital Bhubaneswar.

Yesterday, the CM had formed a three-member ministerial committee to monitor relief, rescue and restoration activities in Ganjam, Gajapati and Rayagada districts which are worst affected by the cyclone ‘Titli’.

The committee includes State Urban Development Minister Niranjan Pujari, Revenue Minister Maheswar Mohanty and Energy Minister Sushant Singh as its members.
