CM Naveen inaugurates modern auditorium in SCB campus

Cuttack: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik inaugurated different projects in the Millennium City including an auditorium of Nursing College inside the SCB Medical College and Hospital campus here on Saturday.
The Chief Minister inaugurated the 1500-seated auditorium with modern equipment during his visit to the city this morning. The auditorium is built with a cost of Rs 9 crore.
Odisha Health Minister Pratap Jena, Revenue & Disaster Management Minister Maheswar Mohanty, Finance Minister Sasibhushan Behera, Barabati-Cuttack MLA Debasish Samantray, Banki MLA Pravata Tripathy and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
Patnaik also inaugurated a new BSc Nursing College, built with a cost of Rs 16 crore, as well as a 400-bedded girls’ hostel for the nursing student with a cost of Rs 15 crore here . He also launched the Wi-Fi facility on the premises of Medical College and Hospital.
Besides, the Chief Minister dedicated a 30-bedded Urban Community Health Centre to the public. It is built with a cost of Rs 5 core in CDA Sector-7 of the city.
Earlier on the day, the Commissionerate Police detained around 50 BJP youth activists for protesting the CM’s visit to the city.
