CM lays foundation stone for Polytechnics, ITI institutions of MANUU in Cuttack

Cuttack: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday laid the foundation stone for Polytechnics and ITI institutions of Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) campus at Sector 13 of CDA here in Odisha.

Apart from promoting and developing Urdu language, the central university will help in imparting education and training in vocational and technical subjects by offering ITI and diploma courses.

In 2015, The Naveen Patnaik Government had allotted five acres of land on the backside of Biju Patnaik Park in CDA Sector-13 to the Hyderabad-based MANUU for its regional centre here.

Among others, Finance Minister Sashi Bhusan Behera, Cuttack MP Bhartruhari Mahtab, Barbati-Cuttack MLA Debasis Samantaray and Vice-Chancellor of MANUU Mohammad Aslam Parvaiz were present on the occasion.
