Checking drive in twin city by Commissionerate police ahead of New Year 2024

Bhubaneswar/Cuttack: A strict checking drive in twin city by Commissionerate police shall be held ahead of New Year 2024, said reports.

According to reports, the Commissionerate police shall tighten the noose on criminals from outside the state. The hotels in Cuttack and Bhubaneswar shall be covered under the strict checking drive in twin city ahead of the New Year 2024.

The DCP had a detailed meeting with all the Inspectors in charge (IICs) of the various police stations in the twin cities of Cuttack and Bhubaneswar and decided in this regard.

This checking in twin city by Commissionerate police ahead of New Year 2024 is expected to see a marked decrease in the crime rate.

The Commissionerate police further decided to make people living in apartments more aware and sensitize them. The DCP further explained the use of fingerprints and scientific knowhow to solve new age crimes.
