Malkangiri: A Border Security Force (BSF) personnel sustained grievous injuries in a landmine explosion near Gobindapalli Ghati on Malkangiri-Jeypore road on Monday.
According to reports, the incident took place at around 2 pm this afternoon. The injured BSF Jawaan, identified as Jagat Pal Singh, was rushed to the Malkangiri District Headquarters Hospital for treatment.
Following the explosion, the Central forces have launched a combing operation in the area. Further details are awaited.
