Dhenkanal: A team of Excise officials with the help of police seized around 17 grams of brown sugar from Odisha’s Dhenkanal district and arrested three persons today.
Sources said that the enforcement team conducted a raid acting on a tip-off and seized 17 grams of brown sugar, the market value of which is said to be around Rs 1.6 lakh.
The team also arrested three drug peddlers and seized Rs 40,000 cash, a car and 5 mobile phones from their possession, added the sources.
Interrogation of the arrestees is underway to find out others’ involvement in the case.
