Angul: Panic gripped Banarpal area of Angul after the dead body of a youth was found lying on the railway track on Saturday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Rajesh Kumar Nayak (24). He hailed from Gotamara village of Angul district.
Nayak’s body was spotted on the tracks by a few locals who later informed the police.
While the reason behind the youth’s death is yet to be ascertained, it is being suspected that he committed suicide by jumping before a moving train late last night.
Furthermore, Nayak’s motorcycle was also recovered near the track.
Meanwhile, the Police have seized the body and sent it to Angul District Hospital for autopsy.
