BJP Zilla Parishad Member candidate goes missing in Malkangiri ahead of Odisha panchayat polls

Malkangiri: The BJP unit of Malkangiri district on Tuesday filed a complaint at Kalimela police station alleging that the party’s Zilla Parishad Member candidate from Zone-II in Kalimela block has gone missing.

One Rina Kabasi from Tumbaguda in Kalimela panchayat limits had filed her nomination as BJP candidate to fight for Zilla Parishad seat of Zone-II in Kalimela block. However, she reportedly went missing.

Meanwhile, the Kalimela Mandal president of BJP, Ratnakar Panigrahi, filed a complaint about Kabasi’s missing suspecting the role of ruling BJD in the case.
