BJD expels two more leaders for anti-party activities

Bhubaneswar: The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) expelled two more leaders of the party on Saturday.

According to a press release issued by the conch party, BJD supremo and Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik dismissed former Kakatpur MLA Rabi Mallick and Ganjam BJD district president Arun Panda from the party for their alleged anti-party activities.

Notably, the state ruling party had expelled three leaders earlier for the same reason. They are Sesha Kumar Meher of Kantamal Assembly Constituency of Boudh district, former chairman of Brahmagiri block Krushna Chandra Ray and Prasanna Baral.
