Bargarh: Farmers of Bargarh district have blocked the road with paddy sacs.
They have blocked the Bargarh-Padmapur-Baisana road near Lakhamara College square.
308 farmers of Lakhamara Farmers Society have blocked the road demanding issue of card for sale of paddy.
The absence/ non-issue of cards has prevented them from selling paddy in the markets.
The farmers have informed the sub-collecter of Padmapur and Collector of Bargarh about their situation but no avail. This has forced them to stage the road blockade with paddy sacs.
They have threatened to continue the protest till their demands are fulfilled.
