Balangir reports first COVID19 cases as Odisha’s positive tally rises to 145

Bhubaneswar: Balangir reported first COVID19 cases  today. As per the website of State Health & Family Welfare Department, two persons from the districts have been tested positive for coronavirus.

The two persons who have been tested positive now are – 22-year-old male and 18-year-old male, are the residents of Lekharia village in the districts, informed the Health department.

Both of them had returned from Tamil Nadu recently. Their contact tracing and follow-up action is underway.

With this two new cases, the positive tally in the State rose to 145. Earlier, today a resident of Balasore district was tested positive for the virus.
