Balangir: In today’s development in relation to the murder case of Balangir MBBS student, a video has gone viral where a staff was seen picking up some paper from the deceased’s body.
It has been alleged that the paper was the suicide note written by the MBBS student Nishant Kumar from Haryana.
Earlier, a WhatsApp chat surfaced where his parents alleged that ragging has taken a toll on Nishant. He had mentioned to his friend, who reportedly stays abroad, how he was subjected to ragging on the campus. He also added how the seniors had prevented juniors from playing in the playground and visiting the park.
Nishant had further stated that he could not gather the courage to complain about the ragging to college authorities.
Notably, Nishant was a first-year student of the Bhimabhoi Medical College and Hospital. He died after falling off the rooftop of the hostel.
He had come to the said hostel merely 10 days before. The security guards found the student lying unconscious under the seven-storeyed building after hearing the sound of falling off something. He was soon rushed to the hospital where the doctors there declared him brought dead.
