Puri: The Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) of Talabania police station has been suspended under the influence of alcohol in Puri district of Odisha on Tuesday night.
It has been alleged that the ASI, Laxman Soren, was intoxicated when he was inspecting motor vehicles at Grid Station square under Puri-Konark marine drive.
The ASI has been suspended by Superintendent of Police (SP) after he was informed about the matter.
