Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik approved 23 projects worth Rs 1.40 crore for three Panchayats in Malkangiri, Boudh and Mayurbhanj districts on Wednesday.
Patnaik approved the projects under Ama Gaon, Ama Bikas (Our Village, Our Development) programme. He held discussions with the Sarapanchas of three Panchayats – Korkunda in Malkangiri, Banibhusanpur in Boudh and Bisipur in Mayurbhanj through video conferencing and approved the projects.
As many as 10 projects were approved for Korkunda Panchayat and seven projects for Banibhusanpur Panchayats. The other six projects were approved for Bisipur Panchayat.
The Chief Minister had inaugurated the Ama Gaon, Ama Bikas programme on March 5 on the occasion of Panchayati Raj Divas. Through this programme, people can directly send their grievances to Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) at Secretariat through Wi-Fi enabled latest technology video wall vans. Through this initiative, administration will help people in solving their grievances instantly.
