8-feet-long python rescued from field in Soro of Odisha

An eight-feet-long python has been rescued from a village in Soro block of Balasore district in Odisha on Thursday.

The serpent was spotted inside the field of a person identified as Ramesh Pradhan. The snake was allegedly caught in the net set in the agriculture field, said reliable reports in this regard.

The farmer further informed the forest department about this development. The forest department led by the forester reached the spot and caught the snake. The forest officials said that the snake was around eight-feet-long.

After the snake was rescued it was released in the nearby forest, said reports.
