5 teachers, 2 peons allow malpractice, removed from Matric board exam centre

Keonjhar: As many as five teachers and two peons were removed from board exam centre in Ghatagaon for allegedly allowing malpractice during the ongoing matric exam on Monday.

According to reports, Keonjhar District Education Officer (DEO) removed five teachers and two peons of Tarini Girls High School and Tarini Vidyapeeth on the allegation of providing copy to the students.

While three teachers who have been identified as Rakhyakar Mahakud, Alok Nath and Sudhansu Sekhar Behera belong to Tarini Girls High School, the other two teachers namely Damburudhara Behera and Ashis Kumar Behera belong to Tarini Vidyapeeth.

Fakir Rout and Jitendra Barik are the two peons of Tarini Vidyapitha who were removed by the DEO from the exam centre.

The District Education Officer removed the teachers and peons from their exam duty after parents of some students leveled allegation against them.
