Kolkata: At least five people were killed and another three were left injured in a road accident in the outskirts of Kolkata on early Wednesday.
As per reports, all eight of them hail from Bhadrak and Jajpur districts. They were in West Bengal to attend a marriage function.
While returning, the driver somehow lost control of the vehicle and turned turtle near Dhulagarh Toll Gate in Howrah. While four of them died on spot, rest four were rushed to a nearby hospital in a critical state. One of them was declared ‘brought dead’.

The three with serious injuries in Kolkata accident are under treatment at Dhulagarh hospital.
