Dhenkanal: Two robberies have occurred overnight on National Highway (NH)- 53 in Dhenkanal district of Odisha.
The incident took place in Bhuban area of Dhenkanal district. The robbers stopped a truck coming from Chhattisgarh to Jajpur with iron plates near Nilmadhab petrol pump.
They took away the mobile phone, money and vehicle keys from the driver.
Similarly, a truck carrying coal from Talcher to Balasore was stopped by three miscreants in Balijhati and looted. He took Rs 3,500 and a mobile phone from the driver and helper and fled.
Bhubaneswar police have detained a man and are investigating further into the mater.
