Balasore: As many as two persons sustained critical injury in a group clash that took place over eve teasing on Monday night in Soro area of Balasore district in Odisha.
As per reports, Rabindra Siala of Tudigadia area in Balasore district runs a fast food kiosk near the College square in Soro. On Monday night a group of youths came to the kiosk and allegedly beat the workers of the fast food centre. By then, the owner had left for home.
The workers then called Rabindra and informed about the fight. Accordingly, he went back to the fast food centre where the youths also allegedly beat him.
The locals rescued the victims and rushed them to Soro hospital for treatment. Two of the patients are said to be critical.
After getting information, Police reached the spot and initiated investigation. It has been learnt that the reason behind the fight was eve teasing. Further investigation of the case is underway.
