Bhubaneswar: Exactly one year ago on March 21 2020, the Chief Minister of Odisha had announced the first lockdown in the state due to the Covid pandemic.
It is noteworthy that the lockdown had been announced in five districts and eight cities or towns of Odisha.
The first lockdown came into effect from March 22. After this, there was regular extension of lockdowns which was later extended later into shutdowns.
Since then, 3,38,719 people have tested Covid positive in the state.
