Berhampur: The deadly coronavirus pandemic has no signs of slowing down and most of us have adapted to the lifestyle changes that it has brought along with us.
Here, another 18 covid warriors from different fields who are on Covid-19 duty have tested positive in Ganjam district.
The Covid warriors includes 2 from Sheragada area and Aska area, 7 from Rangeilunda area and 1 each from Sanakhemundi, Polasara, Kukudakhandi, Buguda, Bhanjanagar, Purusottampur and Berhampur Municipal Corporation (BeMC).
Apart from this, there are 39 local contact cases which includes 2 from Aska and Purushottampur, 1 from Chatrapur, Khalikote, Kukudakhandi, Buguda and Rangeilunda, 3 from Kabisuryanagar and Sheragada, 4 from Hinjilicut and 5 each from Polasara and BeMC and 10 from Beguniapada.
Only one positive case has a travel history from Surat, Gujarat, who hails from Purushottampur.
In the last 24 hours, Ganjam district have reported 58 new Covid-19 cases .
The Covid-19 tally in the district stands at 1195, out of which 811 have recovered with 375 active cases and 9 have deceased so far.
