Koraput: The BSF and Machkund police seized ganja weighing 1200 kilograms from a pickup van in Machkund late last night and arrested two persons in this connection.
Police said that the market value of the seized ganja will be Rs 36 lakh. Police have also seized a pistol from the possession of the accused.
“The van was intercepted during night patrol. We have also found Rs 20000 in cash from the accused. We are further interrogating both the accused to ascertain the source of procurement of the contraband,” said a police official.
