10 tourists stranded as makeshift raft breaks in Bugalibandha Dam in Odisha

At least 10 tourists were stranded after a makeshift raft made of earthen pots broke accidentally in Bugalibandha Dam of Siadimala village in Odisha’s Balasore district today.

Balasore: At least 10 tourists were stranded after a makeshift raft made of earthen pots broke accidentally in Bugalibandha Dam of Siadimala village in Odisha’s Balasore district today.

The mishap took place while ten members of a family including 3-4 children were going to the resort in the using the makeshift raft made of earthen pots. Following the incident, all of them fell into the water.

On being informed, the local administration and the people launched a rescue operation and saved the tourists from the water.

The tourists were taken panic following the mishap.
