India looks to rebound in Third T20I against West Indies

To turn the tide in their favor, India might introduce a few changes to their starting lineup in the third T20I match against West Indies.

In the ongoing five-match T20I series, India faces a crucial showdown against West Indies after losing the first two matches. The upcoming match will be held at Providence Stadium in Guyana. Following their narrow two-wicket defeat in the previous game, India is eager to stage a comeback and level the series.

To turn the tide in their favor, India might introduce a few changes to their starting lineup. Struggling opener Sanju Samson could make way for left-handed Yashasvi Jaiswal. This alteration could also lead to Shubman Gill shifting to the number three batting position, a role he played during the Test series. The middle-order is anticipated to feature Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma, backed by all-rounders Captain Hardik Pandya and Axar Patel.

After recovering from injury, Kuldeep Yadav might regain his spot in the starting lineup, potentially replacing Ravi Bishnoi. Moreover, pace bowler Umran Malik could replace Mukesh Kumar to provide a fresh perspective to India’s bowling attack.

In the West Indies camp, the fast-bowling all-rounder Jason Holder’s participation remains uncertain due to injury concerns. Despite this, the West Indies aims to maintain their successful strategy and secure a T20I series victory over India for the first time since 2016.
