David Warner reunites with his Baggy Greens, shares happy post on Instagram

In recent news, star cricketer David Warner was left delighted after he found his Baggy Green during his farewell Test against Pakistan.

In recent news, star cricketer David Warner was left delighted after he found his Baggy Green during his farewell Test against Pakistan. Earlier on January 2, Warner had made a public appeal on Instagram about the misplacement of his Baggy Green caps.

David claimed that his Baggy Green was stolen from his luggage. In the video he had said, ““If it’s the backpack you really wanted, I have a spare one here, You won’t get into trouble. Please reach out to Cricket Australia or myself via my social media, and I am happy to give this to you if you return my baggy greens.”

Much relieved, David Warner dropped a post on is official Instagram handle and shared the piece of good news. In the video, he said that it was a “load off my shoulders” to find the caps. Further he promised to keep his Baggy Green safe for the rest of his life.

Notably, Warner scored 34 runs in the first innings of his farewell Test against Pakistan at the Sydney Cricket Ground.

The 37 year old Australian player departed as team’s fifth-highest run scorer in Test Cricket format. Following his retirement announcement from Test Cricket, he also shared his decision from stepping away from ODI cricket.
