Japanese ambassador Hiroshi Suzuki shared his delight in enjoying the much famous Lucknow Biryani during his stay in the city.

The global appeal of Indian food has often led tourists to explore its authentic dishes. Among these enthusiasts is Hiroshi Suzuki, the Japanese ambassador to India, who often indulges in Indian delicacies during his visits.
In a recent post on X (formerly Twitter) Japanese ambassador Hiroshi Suzuki shared his delight in enjoying the much famous Lucknow Biryani during his stay in the city, In his post he wrote, “Lucknowi Biryani for two days in a row! Simply the best Biryani I’ve ever had.”\

The Lucknowi or Awadhi Biryani, has a very unique taste which is characterized by tender meat, aromatic spices, and long-grained rice. This biryani is often prepared by the ‘Dum Pukht’ method, where different flavours blend to make the perfect mix.
Japanese ambassador Hiroshi Suzuki’s post on eating Biryani garnered appreciation from many netizens. Internet users appreciated his genuine interest in Indian culture and cuisine. Some even engaged in debates about India’s best biryani.
Since his visit to India last year, Ambassador Suzuki has become a social media name due to his passion for Indian food. Videos of him relishing Indian delicacies have gone viral on multiple occasions. Notably, he explored New Delhi’s Sarojini Nagar with his wife Eiko Suzuki and Himdi speaking Japanese YouTuber, Mayo.
Hiroshi Suzuki has previously shared videos of his culinary escapades, including having Kolhapuri food in Pune. This had caught the attention of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He has also tried popular dishes like Gol Gappas and Banarasi Thali in Varanasi.
