A video of a young boy walking a pet tiger is going viral over the internet. In the video, a juvenile tiger is seen strolling inside a luxurious residence with the boy holding its chain. The clip, posted on Pakistani YouTuber Nouman Hassan’s Instagram handle, has garnered thousands of likes in just four days. While some have commended the boy’s courage, others have expressed outrage at the situation.
Although he hasn’t provided any details about the boy in the video, some social media users have speculated that the child may be Hassan’s nephew.
The video has ignited a debate on social media, with one user inquiring whether the tiger is a pet. Others on Instagram have criticized the video, deeming it “ridiculous.”
This isn’t the first time Nouman Hassan has posted such content. Earlier, he shared a brief clip of the same boy walking another tiger inside a car showroom. Hassan is known for having lions in his private collection, which he obtained from an auction conducted by the Lahore Safari Zoo in August the previous year. The zoo auctioned off a dozen lions and tigers to free up space and reduce expenses for meat.
During that time, Hassan mentioned that he had purchased “two to three lions” and highlighted that the auction served as a means to diversify the gene pool for private collectors who already owned big cats.
Hassan and other owners of big cats regularly share images and videos of their animals on social media and rent them out for movies and photoshoots.
